FAQ

Who are the Noses? Do you work with perfumers from major companies or independents?

We collaborate with a carefully selected network of perfumers from large international fragrance houses (such as Firmenich, Givaudan, IFF), mid-sized companies (such as Mane), and even boutique or independent noses. The choice of partner depends on the nature of the project, the olfactory style requested, and the desired market positioning. This approach allows us to ensure excellent results, with the right balance of creativity, technical expertise, and quality raw materials.

Which manufacturers do you work with?

We rely on certified laboratories based in France, Switzerland, and Italy, selected for their reliability, quality control, and compliance with international standards. We select the most suitable production partner based on the complexity of the formula and the production scale required — whether it’s a small batch or a larger industrial run.

From experience, perfumers tend to impose — even unintentionally — their personal preferences, which can flatten the uniqueness of the product. How do you avoid this risk?

That’s a very valid concern. Our role is to act as the curator and creative director of the process: we start with a detailed brief, built together with the client, and we guide the perfumer throughout the creative journey. The focus always remains on the client’s intention — their values, the emotions they want to evoke, and the story they want to tell. This ensures that the fragrance remains true to the client’s identity, avoiding personal bias or creative drift.

How do you support the client in the selection process? What techniques or methods do you use to create perfumes that reflect memories, personality, etc.?

We follow a proprietary method that begins with an in-depth interview, complemented by visual tools, targeted questions, and olfactory references to craft a personalized creative brief. This document guides the perfumer’s work and allows us to translate emotions, memories, and the client’s world into a fragrance that authentically represents them.

If you're asked to create olfactory memories for an event, how do you do that before the event takes place?

We work based on the emotional and sensory intention the event aims to convey. We analyze the couple or brand, the context, and the desired atmosphere, then translate these into a coherent olfactory proposal. In this way, the fragrance becomes a forward-looking, evocative expression of the event — designed to be memorable and distinctive.

How do you avoid duplicating existing perfumes?

Each project is entirely bespoke, based on a unique brief. We do not use pre-made formulas and guarantee each client an exclusive creative journey, working only on original, tailor-made projects. This approach significantly reduces the risk of ending up with a fragrance similar to an existing one.

How does the collaboration with the client work in practice? Do you meet them in person? Are meetings held online? How can the client test the notes that will shape the final fragrance?

The collaboration is fully remote, conducted through structured online meetings and digital tools. Throughout the development process, we ship physical fragrance samples so the client can test and compare the different proposals independently and discuss them with us. This method allows for an effective co-creation process, even at a distance, and ensures that the final fragrance fully reflects the client’s intention.

How do you develop the packaging?

We offer a flexible level of customization. Clients can select from a curated library of bottle options, while enjoying full creative freedom in the design of labels, visual materials, and outer packaging decoration. This approach ensures a unique and cohesive aesthetic while optimizing production time and cost.

Where does production take place? And distribution?

Production is carried out in European facilities (France, Switzerland, Italy), chosen based on the specifics of the project. Once the fragrance is ready, it can be shipped directly to the client, according to the agreed quantities and logistics.

How do you make a tailored project like this profitable?

We’ve developed a modular model that allows the service to be tailored to different budgets, goals, and levels of exclusivity. Our offerings range from artistic, small-batch projects to scalable lines with commercial potential, making the model sustainable while preserving uniqueness.
